July 30th, Stats – 9.34 miles, 21,152 steps
With Day 10 of our vacation, came the end of our time in the Disney "villa". We packed up and headed to Hollywood Studios.
We began the morning with Toy Story Mania. The ride was amazing, and even waiting in line was entertaining. The kids loved the super-sized versions of the toys--part of the line was a "human-size" path from Candyland.
Next we headed to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. Amazingly, it was the same show Angela remembers seeing on her last trip to Disney (in 1989).
Since we had so much fun on our first Star Tour, we decided to leave the galaxy once more. Each time you ride, the experience is slightly different and one participant is singled out as the "rebel spy". On our second journey, Chris, in his German mouse ears, was the "rebel spy". Thankfully C3P0 was able to safely navigate us out of Darth Vader's clutches.
After we returned to our planet, we ran into Phineas and Ferb. The kids got to rock out and even get real autographs :-)
We finished our evening at downtown Disney where we met up with Angela's cousin Dub and his girlfriend Stephanie at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant.
