Day 2 - Shiloh and Nashville

Day 2 was started by crossing over into northern Mississippi and then back into Tennessee as we drove to the Battle of Shiloh National Park. We managed to get the full experience of the park, including a good nap by Greta during the movie. We toured the battlefield and the kids each earned a Junior Ranger badge and some interesting Civil War trading cards.

Next, we drove to Nashville and went to dinner at John A's, right across the street from the Grand Ole Opry. We enjoyed a nice dinner, and some honky tonk music as we ate. It was a little different from the blues we heard the night before on Beale Street.We finished the night with a nice run through a thunderstorm into the hotel room.
